We can record your stereo cassette to a digital .wav or .aiff file. These file formats can then be converted to mp3 or flac.
Compact Audio Cassette first came on the market in 1963 and reach peak popularity in the 80s with the advent of the Sony Walkman. Most cars from the 80’s to the early 2000’s featured a cassette player. Many historic demos may only exist on cassette. We can transfer them into the digital domain so you can listen to them on a modern computer or mobile device or use it for a mastering project. We use a Tascam 102MKII cassette recorder to playback your tapes and record them into Pro Tools at up to 32 bit, 48kHz. Contact us now for a quote and directions on sending us your tapes.
