Track Splitting

Audacity editing When providing digitally transferred DAT tape service the tape will be one long file. If you need the file split into individual files per track, this is a service we can provide. When mastering for CD the mastering engineer may provide the sequencing and splitting. But if the program material is already mastered and it need to be split into files by track this is a service we can provide. Tracks for streaming or for sale via download need to be split.

We will retain the original bit rate and sample rate. This is not limited to DAT transfers. We can split any other 2-track or multitrack project. This is a simple enough task for anyone with access to a computer and an audio editor but it can be tedious. We can also work from Cue sheets.
