Korg MR16
The Korg MR16 is a drum sound module that was released in 1985. It features 16-bit PCM samples and offers a total of 29 different drum sounds, including: Bass Drum, Snare Drum/Rim Shot, Low Tom, High Tom, Closed High-Hat/ Open High-Hat, Crash Cymbal, Ride Cymbal, Handclaps, Low Conga, High Conga, Timbale, Tambourine, Cowbell/Woodblock, Cabasa, Low Agogo, High Agogo, (Metronome). It has individual outputs for many of drum sounds, allowing for flexible routing and integration into a larger audio setup or mixer. It has been used in tracks by Aphex Twin.
