Moog Rogue
The Moog Rogue is a two oscillator monophonic synthesizer keyboard from 1981. It excels at cutting leads and monster bass. The two oscillators can be set (but not independent from each other) to sawtooth, rectangle, or square waves . Oscillator 2 can be detuned just slightly or just past an octave. It has the classic Moog lowpass filter (24 dB per octave). It has the same oscillator and filter combination as the Moog Taurus II bass synth pedals. It has been used in recordings by Arcade Fire, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Stereolab, Kinky and Talking Heads. Watch a demo here.
