The TX-81Z is a 4 Operator FM synthesizer from 1987. This is the sound module that contains the famous “Lately Bass” patch used on countless records. It features eight voice polyphony, is eight part multitimbral, and features microtuing. Notable users include Roni Size, Future Sound of London , Squarepusher, with notable recordings made by Ace of Bass, and The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Theme Song. Watch the demo.
