Super Nintendo with SuperMidiPak MIDI interface

The Cejetvole SuperMidiPak is a MIDI interface for the Super Nintendo which features the SHVC-SOUND chip developed by Sony for the S-SMP audio subsystem. It allows for the uploading of samples through its USB interface using a web MIDI interface. This feature allows users to use the lofi audio capabilities of the console. It provides 16 polyphonic MIDI channels with independent settings multiplexed over 8 voices. It supports standard MIDI functions such as sustain, legato, portamento, pitch bend, vibrato, pan, and volume. Advanced MIDI features include custom tunings, pitch bend sensitivity, and master tuning. It also includes pitch and amplitude envelopes, MIDI mono mode with legato operation, and direct writability of SPC700 DSP registers via CC messages. It comes with built-in samples including Square Wave, Sine Wave, Triangle Wave, and Sawtooth, and the General Midi sound set, and allows for the uploading of new samples via a WebMidi application. The device features USB and 3.5" TRS Type A MIDI interfaces, with the USB interface galvanically isolated to prevent ground loop noise.
