Mark Ronson & The Business INTL - Bang Bang Bang video

Gratuitous use of synth imagery like the Juno 60 on the music video for Bang Bang Bang. In the live performance on the Jonathan Ross Show I think the synth displayed on the outside of Mark's rig is a Sequential Prophet 5. It is almost like the way that Justice's uses Moog Modulars and Marshall stacks that do nothing but look awesome. The actual synth being used in the live performance is the Yamaha Motif 8 which is more reliable for a live performance.

Here Mark makes fun of his keyboard player trying to recreate the sound of the Jupiter 8 used in the recording of Bang Bang Bang on the Yamaha Motif 8. It was recently revealed that Mark purchased all the same models of vintage synths that Nick Rhodes of Druan Druan has owned and is using for the new album Mark is producing for the band.

Other 80's cultural references in the video include Simmons drum pads that Mark never plays, synths flying through space as if they are the Millennium Falcon, Star Wars hyperspace, Duran Duran-styled music video frame insets, summoning transforming superpowers as if he is a 1970s anime robot like Voltron crossed with Automan and random Tron-like blue glows.
