The Alesis Andromeda A6 is a 16-voice, 16 part multitimbral analog synth keyboard made by Alesis from 2000 to 2010. If features a 2 stable VCOs (lacking in vintage synths) per voice and VCFs and an analog signal path but with modern digital control. The VCOs have a very practical pitch correction function. The VCOs features FM, ring mod and sub-oscillators. Its memory can hold 256 preset and 128 user writable patches. The filter types available are 2-pole multimode resonating filter per voice, 4-pole lowpass resonating filter per voice, toting to 32 VCFs, and you can patch external sounds through these filters.. Oscillator waveforms include sine, triangle, pulse, up saw, down saw. 72 knobs and buttons 144 make it fun and easy to program. Three LFOs, each with six waveforms and they can be synced to MIDI clock and there are three 7 stage envelopes. It is featured on the recordings of BT, Nine Inch Nails, and DJ Tiesto.
