Oberheim Xpander

The Oberheim Xpander is a classic midi synth from 1984 with 6 voices that can also have up to 6 monophonic multitimbral parts, 1 six voice part, or anything in between (3 two voice parts, 2 three voice parts, ect). It also has a 6 channel CV/gate to midi converter. Our Xpander is the more rugged US made version compared to the Japan made version. It is great for pads and basses. It is the tabletop sound module version of the Matrix 12 keyboard. It was used in Nine Inch Nail's Pretty Hate Machine album as well as by many other artists including The Chemical Brothers, Meat Beat Manifesto, Depeche Mode, Tangerine Dream, and Nitzer Ebb.
