Akai MPC-2000
The Akai MPC-2000 is a complete sampler / workstation with the renowned MPC trigger pads from 1997. The MPC is considered by many producers as the ultimate workstation, and they continue to be a staple in many studios to this day. The MPC trigger pads (16) are the standard for precise, velocity-sensitive sample triggering. The MPC-2000 features a built-in sequencer, and is capable of playing back samples from other samplers including: AKAI S1000, S3000, the E-MU E3x and the Roland S750/760. In addition, the unit features eight assignable outputs, Digital I/O, SCSI, and MIDI. Our MPC-2000 is fully loaded with 32MB of RAM and on-board ZIP 100 disk drive. Our particular unit was featured as a prop in Nas's music video for "Ultra Black". Check out a demo.
