Shipping and Tracking Numbers
Ship us your tape with UPS, FedEx or USPS. Box it up, take it to your local shipping store, and send it to the address we provided in our email. So we may know when the exact date to expect your media to arrive, please send us the tracking number. If you are able, please use the tracking number URL creator tools:
Just enter your tracking number, hit track, confirm that it is the right number (you will see a destination and/or departure city and state) and copy the URL from your browser and send it to us. The resulting URL should look like this:

If you will be printing your own label and packing your media yourself, all you will need is a box, some packing tape, the length, width, height and weight of the box. Measuring is easy since post people have a ruler or measuring tape but you might not have an accurate shipping scale. Here are weights of single audio reels, simply add or multiply by the quantity to get your total weight:
- 2 inch tape on a full 10.5 inch metal reel: 11.8lbs each
- 1 inch tape on a full 10.5 inch metal reel: 5.4 lbs each
- 1/2 inch tape on a full 10.5 inch metal reel: 2.7 lbs each
- 1/4 inch tape on a full 10.5 inch metal reel: 1.35 lbs each
- 1/4 inch on a 7 or 5 inch plastic reel: less than 1lb each
- ADAT tapes: 12.8 ounces each
- DTRS tapes: 2.8 ounces each
If you will be taking them to a shipping and packing service store or to the post office they will have scales which they will use. Note that above weights do not include your shipping box, but will be close enough to the actual weight.
UPS
If you use UPS online you can send your UPS return label with the shipment or separately on demand using this service. When creating your shipping label for your media going to us online, make sure to save the ship-to address so you can easily select it as the ship-from address when you create the return label. The process for creating the label that you will use to get your media to us will be the same one that is used to get your media back to you. If you are at a UPS Store or other shipping or mail service store just let them know you would like to send a return label with your media that will be sent back to you.
USPS
You can get prepaid USPS shipping labels USPS Click-N-Ship. It offers an easy way to create USPS prepaid labels.They offer a few mailing classes for return shipping. You can get USPS return labels printed on your on your own printer which you would send to us with your media or at the Post Office or other mailing and shipping service shops.
FedEx
To create a return shipping label with FedEx, sign in to your FedEx account. You can create one if you don’t have one by registering online. At the Ship tab section, select Create Shipment. In the FedEx Ship Manager, choose Prepare Shipment and then select Create Return Shipment. Enter your address in the Return Package and select the return label type. If you are taking your media to a FedEx location just let them know you need to send a return shipping label with the package that will be delivered back to your address. You will get billed or changed once the label is used.
