Akai MPC2000XL

The Akai MPC2000XL is a 64 Track MIDI sequencer along with a 32-voice Stereo Digital Sampler. This MIDI Production Center from 1999 features a 16-bit, 44.1 kHz sample rate in stereo or mono, tune, pitch shift, truncate, looping, key placement, velocity effects up to 32 voices of polyphony, 16 velocity and pressure sensitive rubber pads, four bank keys, track muting, soft MIDI thru, time stretch, resampling, and a hinged LCD display. It is a classic hip hop production tool used by used by Kanye West, Dr. Dre and DJ Shadow. Our unit currently has a stereo output and Zip 100 drive.
