Jen SX-1000

The Jen SX-1000 is an analog monophonic synthesizer produced in 1977 by the Italian company Jen Electronics. It features one oscillator that can be mixed with noise. It features filter and amplifier modulation capabilities. Although it only has one oscillator witty pulse and square waveforms and one voice, it became popular for its great analog sound, making it a sought-after vintage synthesizer among enthusiasts that sometimes call it the "Italian Minimoog." It has been used in tracks by The Future Sound of London, Caribou, Madlib, Plaid, Broadcast, Shigeto, Witch and LFO. Our SX-1000 has had the Cesyg MIDI kit installed by Charles Stella at OC Synth Lab to it is MIDI controllable.
