Digital Synthesizer from the mid 1980’s. 8 note polyphony with Digital Phase Distortion waveforms including sine, saw, square, pulse, resonance, double sine, saw-pulse). 4-part multitimbral, 8 stage envelope, noise and ring modulation, LFO with ramp up, down, triangle and sine. The full sized key version, the CZ-1000 and the The CZ-101 are both mono but when used together, panned hard left and right on the same patch you can get quazi stereo. It was used by Erasure, Moby, Arthur Russell, 808 State, and Human League.
